Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located right across from the airport, making it a great choice for short stays. The food, particularly the Ika Mata, was fantastic and very affordable, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the noise from the Hula Bar can be disruptive, especially during events, and the service could use some improvement.
The Islander is a wonderfully convenient place for a short stay, especially with its close proximity to the airport. I enjoyed comfortable rooms and a great breakfast, but the noise from the Hula Bar could be an issue for light sleepers. Dining options at the bar were a hit or miss; while some dishes were excellent, my experience was less favorable on one occasion. Overall, it's a fun spot with lovely views and spacious areas, ideal for those just passing through.
My stay was a mixed bag. I had an unpleasant experience at one hotel which felt run-down and uncomfortable, while another stay was fabulous with great food and a lively bar atmosphere. The contrast was stark; one was disappointing, and the other exceeded expectations.
